Ahh it's Sunday and it's the last day of the Chinese New Year Holidays. I have to go back to my campus today. But this week I did cut a lot of felts and turning them into these cute little books (well the other one is a journal).

This is the journal, with a little patched red heart cut out from faux leather. Each book and journal have 4 pages and sew by hand. Will probably turn them into necklaces.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I proudly present my new little shop,

In the shop, you will find cute lovely chocomuffs made with lots of love and care.
Every chocomuffs are only available in one design only.
It means no one own the same chocomuff.

Beside the little creatures, I also planning to sell stationery that is based on my hobby,
sending snail mail to penpal all around the world.
I think you got the hint.
I'm planning to sell sets of handmade (manually cuts and glues) envelope in variety
of papers and texture. This envelopes are made especially for sending mail
to penpals, family and friends but not for formal use.
But this project still in planning. Still need to test the durability of papers that I'm going to use.

My shop still new and not much of products in there as the chocomuff must be original,
not a copy. I need to sketch the ideas and find more inspirations.

I hope my shop will grow like a tree and not died half way as this is also based on my hobby
to sew and get crafty. This shop is made with love. I put my heart on the shop.
I want to share my creation with others.

So I want to celebrate this newly open shop and the end of 2009 with a giveaway.

It is hard to find a local online shop that sells the things that you need in making scrap books and handmade cards. We usually go to several different online shop to buy ribbons, paper packs, ink pads, clear stamps, stickers and more. To ease you in find local online shops that sells all things that you need, I made this list of shop:

Crafty Heart.
A one stop online shop for scrapbooks and handmade cards materials. At first, I thought this shop was belongs to an American lady but I was totally wrong!It actually runs by a Chinese lady here at Malaysia. You can find mostly everything here, you name it, stickers as low as RM6.50 per pack.

Are you crazy over a camera? Me, yeah of course I'm crazy over camera but I'm not going to write about camera. I want to share you this wonderfull pictures from Olivia Bee. She just another ordinary high school girl that you can see and find in America mostly in Portland but not until you see her collections of photography! She will WOW you! I totally amazed by her pictures, she captured the right moments and feelings. I'm quite jealous by her amazing skills. Well, she turns the captured moments into a print herself in her own darkroom! She really into photography! You can see in her pictures. She also done a cover for novels. She had been in several photography magazine and book. I know one day, Olivia Bee will be a profesional photographer across the world. I can see it!

how are you? Me, ok just let my little finger heals after being accidentally sewn last sunday. Not much of crafting since last Raya. Just another 2 pincushions and new watch strap. I thinking about doing another giveaway.Yeah for my birthday and today I am 16 years and 1 month old. Still thinking of what should I put in the giveaway.

I planning of starting sewing my design into a garment but maybe I will start during the end-year school holidays. But now I'm looking for my sponsor, and it will be my mother. hahahaha. And I also thinking about my label name, but I much more love with "Paradise Kiss". And I feel bit too much of thinking (actually way too much of thinking!), of my future. Yeah I always want to be a fashion designer and in the same time, I want to be a teacher. Still thinking but the end, I will be both fashion designer and teacher! I want to be an english teacher. Is this what happen when you are 16 years old? thinking about the future, about your life, occupation, education, feeling, and everything? or you just enjoy your 16? or maybe it just me?

My journey is still long and I just at the first step, still more to learn and more experience to catch...Right now,I just need to study and study and study and study and looking for more experience. Go,Go Chaiyok Syazwi!

How To: SHRINK PLASTICS

Today I want to share another tutorial with you. How to make a shrink plastics.scissors

Things you need:

Number #6 plastic
Sharpie or fine tip permanent marker
Scissors

Steps to do it:

The first step is to cut the plastic to your desire size but keep in mind that the plastic will shrink so do not cut it so small.

Then it is time to draw your design on the plastic. You can draw anything you like. After you finish your design, you can punch a hole if you are making something like a pendant which needs a hole.

Preheat your oven to 250 degrees. Put an aluminium foil in the baking tray and place the plastic on top of the aluminium foil. Then pop them into the oven.They will start to curl after a few second after been place in the oven. Watch them curl and flatten. After they finish curl and flatten themself, take them out and put something heavy on top of the plastic to help they flatten more.

Now you can enjoy your DIY shrink plastic!

Trying my hand to carve a stamp on rubber erase and the result..This is my first try :)

I made a chocolate muffin with a cherry on the top. I used my dad's knife set. It got 4 types of different knife tips set

Oh and today I made another 4 stamps. Will upload the pictures tonight.

What a tired day! Lots of homework to do! but I spent some times to do some crafting...What I did?Two ribbon headbands for my sister, Nahid and Rahin and a bookmark with a vintage button. I think I want to make some more hair clips for sale and trying to do handcarve stamps just like mangosteenskin did! Oh I just love to do crafting!

How To : Print on Fabrics

Salam and Hi,

Today I would like to share my fave thing I do during my free time ( only some times) , printing fabrics!

So here, I write my firsr HOW TO / TUTORIAL to print on fabrics.

! ! ! ALERT ! ! !

This printed fabrics is not washable!

You want to change this normal plain white cotton fabrics into

this colourfull pattern fabrics just like in the below picturs???

Well I want to share my fun making crafting with you!

The things you need:

Freeze paper or you can make your home make sticker paper just what I did!
Scissors .
Iron. No steam please.
Double sided sticky tape.
A4 paper.
Plain cotton fabrics.
Ink jet printer.
Computer
Adobe photoshop or any image editing software.
Pattern. I use http://www.pixelsandicecream.com/ free Adobe Photoshop pattern.
Your times

1. Take an A4 paper and lay on a flat surface.

Slowly and patienly, stick the double sided tape on the paper.

Start from the upper side of the paper to the bottom of the paper.

Cover the whole page.

Then peel the shiny and glossy paper from the tape.

Put it a side.

2.Then take and iron the cotton fabrics to avoid the wrinkle surface.

3.Slowly put the homemade sticker paper to the cotton fabrics.

Slowly move your hand over the paper to make sure all the paper

surface stick to the fabrics.

4.Iron the paper.

This can help the paper to stick more to the fabrics.

Set the iron to No Steam.

5.Cut all the excess fabrics.

6. Iron the fabrics again

Set to No Steam.

7. This is the finish fabrics paper.

The folded page is the paper and the camera-faced page is the fabrics.

7.Now let's move to the computer. Open a new canvas by the size

of ...

(click the picture for the bigger version)

8.Fill the canvas with any colour you like.

9. Right click on the layer palet.

and choose Blending Options...

10. and ...

Tick the Pattern overlay box.

Load the pattern

11. Resize, edit, the way you like it

But I suggest you use my size.

Make sure you tick the " Link with the layer" box.

Click Ok.

12.This is the result

13.Happy with the result.

Print it .

Just tick on the " Scale to Fit Media" box.

Click Print..

I using the Canon Pixma iP3300 ink jet printer to print out the pattern.

14.Put the fabrics paper carefully and make sure the paper does not fold.

15.Tada! Here is my home print fabric. Easy huh?

Let it dry for a minute or two.

Then iron it.

Set the iron to No Steam.

Let it to cold and dry more for 5 minutes before open the sticker paper from the fabric.

Pull it slowly and carefully to avoid any damage to the fabrics and the sticker paper.

The sticker paper can be use for 4 times and maybe more.

The time of usage is also depend on the double side tape stickyness.

You can print anythings you like!

Just remember, this print fabrics is NOT WASHABLE.

My First Handmade Dress
