#2 - Lines

I'm way behind with this but I'm slowly catching up. This time the prompt is much easier compare to the first one

Sketchbook Prompt #2
Rest your pencil to a fresh sketchbook page, close your eyes and begin to move your pencil
all over the page for 15 seconds. open your eyes. spend the next 15 mins turning your scribble into
a recognizable image!

So without further ado here is my sketch! It's a simple one but expressing my feeling of that time. I had so much fun doing this sketch/doodle

Painting rocks

Had a fun crafty afternoon with my little sister. She just love mixing the colours and get messy =)

Amethyst Necklace

I have this raw amethyst rock laying around which I got from a magazine as a sample of rocks. So instead of putting it inside the acrylic case, I wrapped it around with some craft wire and attached it to a long silver chain. Tada a wrapped rock necklace! It was a quick craft project and I love every bit of it. It looks pretty and can be easily match to any outfit!

This is my little tiny succulent plant that I planted inside a tiny milk pitcher. It looks pretty although it got some yellowish leaves here and there. =)

Sorry for the blurry-captured by handphone pictures but I left my camera at my dorm.

#1 - Me Portrait

I'm in the quest on finding the creative side of my brain so I pretty much will do anything to find the creative gems. Now I present to you the crazy doodle that I did in half an hour. This is for Run2Wild Sketchbook Workshop. I decided to take part in it. Well, why not? About the doodle, it's based on this

SKETCHBOOK PROMPT 1:

Draw a self portrait without using words, without a mirror and without actually drawing yourself realistically. Use this sketch to describe who you are on the inside, not who we see on the outside.

So it's pretty much explain who am I. It ain't easy I tell to draw something that could represent you. So if you guys decided to join this fun workshop, just click on the button below. It will bring you directly to Courtney's blog

Ain't these glasses pretty?

Wow, 2013 already!

Okay I'm going to be strict with myself. I need to AT LEAST write a post a day, every day, starting today. I don't know how and when did I lost my mojo to write. I used to love it. But I'm getting a feeling that I'm going to get my writing mojo back and it won't come easy I tell. Hence the forcing part.

Wow it's 2013 already! I felt like it was only yesterday that I started my foundation and look now, I already in the degree program. Wow, praise to Allah! That also means that I will be 20 this year, arrgghhh I'm so gonna miss the "teen" years!

As this year is my first year in the degree program, lot of things that I need to focus on. PBS (School Based Experience), BIG (Bina Insan Guru), bundles of assignments and of course the EXAMS! 7 subjects which mean 7 exam papers (I guess so, need to check this back with the lecturers) I'm really looking forward to the PBS, I'm really excited to go to the school although I've to admit that I'm a tad nervous. All in all I'm really looking forward to this year and I'm gonna live to the fullest!

Before I go, I want to wish all of you a happy new year!

p/s thank you so much to everyone who reads my blog. You guys are awesome!

MIA and Cookies!

Oh my! Dust everywhere.

I've been MIA and I'm so sorry. Life just getting better but school is getting busy! This final semester of my foundation will determine either I qualified or not to pursue my study in the Degree program. So, I can't play  around anymore. I have to focus on my study. But I couldn't help myself from getting crafty. I have so many projects in line. Of course continuing my little jewelry line, I need more fresh ideas and design. I need to think out of the box but for now my brain seems to be stuck without any design. Too stuffy inside there with loads of English Language grammar rules crammed in there.

For this chance I want to wish to all my Muslim readers and customers, Happy Ramadhan. May we find bless and forgiveness in the blessed month. And my mom she has this bakery thing going on, she sells cookies! Yummy cookies of course for this up coming Eid Fitr. So if you want to buy, but need some samples to encourage your urge to buy, you can email me at this address : mychocomuffins@gmail.com

Trust me, you will love Biskut Brondong (Javaness word for bubble rice)  so much! and other cookies too. It tastes so delicious and one piece will never be enough because you'll crave for more! So just email me and order one bottle or more perhaps =)

Other than that, I've updated my Etsy with loads of thing. I guess that's all for now, I'll talk to you guys soon =)

The Weekend

Okay my life has never been this much shocking. First, I lost my phone. My precious baby Andy! Then, it was my friend, her room was broken into and the robber took her laptop, cell phone and a broadband device. All these happened in one day! Luckily I got something to distract myself, a complete set of The Hunger Games novels! Yay! I know I'm a tad late behind with this Hunger Games madness but better late than never, right?

So on Saturday which was the day I lost my phone, I went hang out with my friends. Just a walk around in the shopping mall, spent hours in the book store and of course eating some yummy foods! We decided to dine in at the Vivo American Pizza & Panini and it was worth the money!

My lunch - The Chicken and Mushroom Baked Spaghetti
The spaghetti was so cheesy and delicious! If you love cheese and spaghetti, this is the perfect dish for you!

Yummy cake! - Oreo Cheesecake
I love this cake! It was so yummy and mouth watering. A must try!

So that was how my weekend. Sunday, just chilling in my room and thinking on how am I going to afford a new phone...and what type of model should I get?..
